Hello! My name is Owen Hodges, and I’m currently a Graphic Design major at Anderson University, South Carolina. I’m eager to take what I’m learning right now with me into the workforce, as well as continue to learn and grow in the roles that I take on going forward.
I’m most interested in copy writing and publication design, specifically, but I’m also well versed in branding, systems design, and experience design. I’m experienced with the Adobe suite as well as with Figma. Being a student, though, I’m always looking to learn more and expand my skillset. I’m currently looking for an internship, ideally either in my area or remotely.
I’m a strong believer in Mies Van Der Rohe’s notion that God is in the details. When I’m on a team I tend to leave the conceptual side to others and focus on the more technical side of the project, and with making sure that every seemingly minor component of the brief is being met. I’m also a big note taker and enjoy scribbling down everything that the group comes up with when it is time to ideate.
